The first time I ever probated a will, it totally failed to accomplish what it was written for. The father who wrote it wanted to bring together his two daughters and bless his nephew. But when it was probated, the probate process depleted much of the estate, the nephew had to buy his inheritance to get it, and it destroyed the sisters’ relationship.
